How can I stop buying so many things for my job?
I’ve bought many things for work. I don’t earn much and only have a 1 year contract right now.
First I had back pain and the chair I had was just crap. Well accourding to them it was ergo-certified and stuff. I asked the guy in charge of The Office interior and he moaned that “we all have back pain now and again” and that “it would be a very long procedure to arrange another chair”etc
Anyway I ended up buying an (expensive) chair myself for the office… and yes my back pain dramitically vanished.
I’ve bought expensive and even rare books on the subjects I’m working on. I’ve bought wires and other computer accerories. Sometimes I think my work is costing me more than I’m earning.
my question: Now I’m sitting with my back to the window. I’m having problems with the light shining on my screen. Others are siting next to the window so I can’t block their view of outside.
Should I buy a display screen filter so I don’t have to squint?
Maybe you can work out an arrangement somehow to move
your desk so you do not get the glare on your screen. If they will not let you move your desk, they should purchase a screen filter for you.
