What is the difference between these 2 products on amazon?
They are essentially the same thing but have 2 different pages. If anyone can tell me the difference between the 2 that would be great. Other than the listing title of course. The specs seem the same.

Thanks
They are both fullscreen
…I’m looking at the case of the first one and it say’s full screen. The 2nd link is also full screen according to amazon.
The first one you buy through amazon.com, but the second one you actually can only buy new or used through other users. Either would likely be fine to order from, but obviously ordering directly from amazon.com is usually best! Hope that helps!

NOVA: Columbia – Space Shuttle Disaster $24.95 NOVA: Columbia – Space Shuttle Disaster Tragically, the space shuttle Columbia was unable to remain intact during its reentry into the Earth’s atmosphere, where the shuttle was destroyed, leaving no survivors in its wake. This program offers a probing study into not only what caused the malfunction, but the political and economical factors that may have contributed to the disaster. Several engineers predicted the accident, and interviews with NASA personnel appear to confirm that damage reports went ignored by their superiors. In addition, the decision to retire old “space planes” such as the Columbia for another model, the Orion, which is not scheduled to come out until 2015, is also examined, for this too could have far-reaching international consequences. NOVA’s To The Moon DVD $24.95 NOVA – TO THE MOON The mission was impossible. The odds were astronomical. The results were spectacular. NOVA presents the fascinating story behind the Apollo space program, including the most remarkable feat in human history–the historic walk on the moon in 1969. This engaging two-hour documentary from NOVA detailing America’s space program was produced for the 30th anniversary of the first moon shots. While no 120-minute film can tell all the stories of the space program, To the Moon is more comprehensive than other similar videos. The film details the method that Americans used to reach the moon: lunar orbit rendezvous (one ship circles the moon while another lands). This concept wasn’t even on the drawing board at NASA, and the video chronicles the struggle of engineers and astronauts to work out a solution. The space footage focuses on Gemini missions that rehearsed rendezvous in space and the most extravagant Apollo missions (numbers 8, 11, 13, 15, and 17). The film reunites several astronauts for fresh perspectives on the importance of the program, including the knowledge gained about the geology of the moon. Generation X actor Liev Schreiber (Scream 2) supplies the narration for this video, which is a great companion to the From the Earth to the Moon miniseries. –Doug Thomas Features and Reviews: Format: Closed-captioned, Color, NTSC Language: English Number of discs: 1 Studio: WGBH Boston DVD Release Date: August 8, 2000 Run Time: 120 minutes |

Space Shuttle Thermal Tile Box Set: 1" Triangle Section $22.95 Space Shuttle Thermal Tile Box Set: 1″ Triangle Section Includes a Statement of Authenticity Card The Space Store is the sole owner of the only legally owned Space Shuttle thermal tile material for resale. This is an actual piece of thermal tile material that was made in the late 1970s for the Space Shuttle Columbia , the first shuttle to fly into space. Our 1 inch section is available for a limited time only. These sections are only cut from sections in which we could not get a full 1.33 inches (or more) for the larger sizes. We only have a limited amount of thermal tile material and once they’re gone, they’re gone forever Material Background: Thermal tiles are made of a ‘foam glass’ material. Each Space Shuttle contains more than 34,000 separate tiles, each specifically cut for its own location, to protect the Shuttle when reentering the Earth’s atmosphere. Note: This tile material is not from the loss of STS-107. It comes from the same lot of material originally installed on Columbia Packaging: Packaging includes a clear plastic box with an authentic piece of Space Shuttle tile material resting on a sky blue foam insert. It also now includes an inscribed plate, which includes information about the Thermal Tile. This is an excellent educational item for students and a must-have for collectors. Product features are presented below. Also see below for more information on how this tile material became commercially available. Supplies are limited. Plastic display box is 3 x 3 x 1 inches The tile material is a 1 inch triangle Includes an inscribed information plaque Includes a Statement of Authenticity Card Note: Tile material is brittle and has a chalky film. This film can get on your hands and irritate the skin if handled directly. History of the Tile Material: In October 1978, D.G. Noble was assigned as Chief of U.S. Air Force Quality Assurance on all NASA contracts at Lockheed Missile and Space Systems in Sunnyvale, California. The main NASA contract at that time was for the production of Space Shuttle tile for the first Space Shuttle to fly in space, Columbia. At that time, Space Shuttle tile was being thrown into a large discard receptacle. There were no strict policies in effect at that time, precluding removal of anything from these receptacles. Noble’s interest in the discarded tile was as an insulating material for a fireplace, so he removed enough material to accomplish this purpose. A few years later, a NASA representative came to Noble’s home to discuss when and how he obtained the discarded Space Shuttle tile. NASA concluded that Noble had obtained the tile legally which could also be sold commercially. This was reaffirmed in a letter from the Inspector General for NASA to Michael Noble in June 22, 1994 letter from George T. Lenehan, Chief Counsel, Office of the Chief Counsel, for Ames Research Center, NASA. The Space Store legally purchased Mr. Noble’s entire thermal tile material stock in July, 2009. |

The Rocket Team – Includes Bonus DVD $34.95 The Rocket Team – Includes Bonus DVD For the first time The Rocket Team is now accompanied by a DVD-Video featuring nearly five hours of rare footage of the Rockt Team’s extraordinary legacy. “This book was already a classic, but Apogee has made it even better by adding the wonderful DVD full of documentary footage. The Rocket Team deserves a place on the bookshelf of anyone intersted in the origins of the space age.” — Andrew Chaikin, author of “A Man on the Moon.” Traveling to the Moon and the planets beyond has moved from the world of dreamers and Buck Rogers to the factual terrain of the daily papers and television news shows. This book tells the story of the men who did so much to make the impossible a reality. From a small group of amateur rocketeers led by Wernher von Braun, his rocket team grew into one of the most influential technological forces in this or any other century. Starting in the early 1930′s with rockets whose flights were measured in feet (when they got off the ground at all), within two dozen years the von Braun team added a new dimension to warfare with the 200-mile-range V-2 bombardment missile. After World War II, the same team created the first long-range ballistic missiles for the U.S.: They worked on the Explorer program that resulted in the first American satellite to orbit the Earth. And within the decade they developed and built the huge 363-foot-tall Saturn rocket that fulfilled von Braun’s life-long dream of sending man to the Moon. The Rocket Team discloses much previously classified information, particularly involving the British intelligence effort to learn about Hitler’s heralded V1 and V2 “vengeance weapons”; to delay their going into action and to minimize their effectiveness once they were developed. The U.S. and British documents, as well as information from von Braun himself, his papers, and interviews with the other members of his team, provide new insights into the wartime growth of rocketry. For Germany, the effort was remarkable: the V-2 program costing some $3 billion – half again as much as the American Manhattan project t develop the atomic bomb. The conditions under which the team had to operate were severe. Constant Allied bombings disrupted supply lines and forced manufacturing operations underground. Internally, the V-2 program was disrupted by Hitler’s on-again, off-again attitude and Himmler’s attempt to gain control of it. At one point von Braun himself was arrested by the SS! Despite such obstacles, the scientists and engineers on the teaam refined and developed their work to the point that, when they arranged their surrender to the Americans at the end of World War II, von Braun announced that he had a rocket on the drawing board that could fly from Germany to New York. Little wonder, then, that the rivalry was so keen between the U.S., Russia, and Britain to gain the services of the von Braun group after the war. The Rocket Team tells how the men were brought to the U.S., and establish |

Apollo 13 The NASA Mission Reports 40th Anniversary Edition with DVD $27.95 Apollo 13 The NASA Mission Reports 40th Anniversary Edition with DVD by Robert Godwin On April 11 1970 veteran astronaut Jim Lovell and his crewmates Jack Swigert and Fred Haise rode atop the eighth launch of the Saturn V juggernaut to begin their ill-fated journey to the moon. The aptly named Command Module Odyssey and the reluctant Lunar Module – lifeboat Aquarius were to take the three men to a date with the lunar highland area known as Fra Mauro but fate and a faulty circuit in one of the vehicle’s oxygen tanks would irrevocably alter their plans and turn the flight of Apollo 13 into an epic to rival the original Odyssey. After an explosion in the Service Module crippled the spacecraft while it was still outward bound the crew would spend several harrowing days in near frigid temperatures while the technicians at home worked around the clock to devise new and ingenious ways to keep them alive and bring them home safely. In 1970 some considered Apollo 13 a catastrophic failure but it has since been recognised as one of NASA’s truly great moments, when the spirit of daring and ingenuity came to life in the team at Mission Control as they successfully brought the crew home.In “Apollo 13 The NASA Mission Reports” some of the rare official documentation of the voyage of Apollo 13 is collected and made commercially available for the first time.Includes: Windows DVDROM featuring:The NASA video documentary “Houston We’ve Got A Problem.” The pre-explosion in-flight Television broadcast from Apollo 13. An exclusive video interview with Commander James Lovell. Video of the launch of Apollo 13. The Post-flight Apollo 13 Press Conference video in full DVD quality. The onboard flight movies in DVD quality from an HD transfer of the film. Nearly 600 Hasselblad photographs taken by the Apollo 13 crew. An extensive NASA acronym database. The 198 page technical document “Separation Procedures/ Alternate & Abort Missions for Apollo 13″.What was said about the earlier edition of this book: “As with the other excellent installments in the Mission Reports series, the included CD-ROM backs up the already solid content with searchable documents and choice images and movies.” – Amazon.com editorial.”. . . must represent some of the best value for money possible for any space enthusiast.”. . . Roving MARS $36.95 “Visually Stunning” – Ann Hornaday, Washington Post Mars is Earth’s closest planetary neighbor, and for decades scientists have been curious about the so-called “Red Planet,” wondering if it’s possible that life exists there, how its soil and terrain differs from our own, and if water can be found. While sending a manned space mission to Mars has been considered beyond the reach of America’s space program, in 2001 the National Aeronautics and Space Administration approved a mission to send two “rovers” to Mars — wheeled robots that would send images and data back to Earth. A two-year crash program resulted in two robotic rovers (dubbed “Spirit” and “Opportunity”) being sent to Mars, which have given scientists and researchers on Earth a brand new vision of what the planet is really like. Roving Mars is a documentary which offers a detailed look at the people behind the Mars rover program, how the machines were built and what they can do, and what has been learned since they reached their target. Roving Mars was shot and originally exhibited in the high-definition IMAX film format. ~ Mark Deming, All Movie Guide Features: Actors: Paul Newman, Stephen Squyres, Rob Manning (IV), Charles Elachi, Wayne Lee (II) Directors: George Butler (II) Format: AC-3, Closed-captioned, Color, Dolby, Dubbed, DVD-Video, Full Screen, Subtitled, Widescreen, NTSC Language: English Aspect Ratio: 1.78:1 Studio: Buena Vista Home Entertainment DVD Release Date: July 31, 2007 Run Time: 40 minutes Bonus Features: Bonus Movie: Mars and Beyond – Walt Disney’s 1957 Investigation into the mysteries of the universe and space travel. 50 minutes. “Mars: Past, Present & Future”- Personal reflections on Mars from the filmmakers, JPL Rover team members and students from the “Imagine Mars” program |

Apollo 12: The NASA Mission Report Vol. 2 $24.95 Apollo 12 Volume 2 The Nasa Mission Reports It’s 35 years since the Intrepid voyage to the Ocean of Storms. Ask the average person to name the crew and you’ll be lucky if they can name even one of them. Ironically this collective amnesia is likely to be transitory, in a couple of hundred years from now the names of Conrad, Gordon and Bean will probably find their true place in the annals of human history. It is my sincere hope and fervent belief that by the 23rd century we will be a true space-faring civilization, one which remembers its forebears with the honor and repect they earned. Meanwhile, back here in the turgid backwaters of the early 21t century some of us do what we can to keep the flame of hope alive. The average person may look into the following pages and see only statistics and charts but if you look hard enough you can see that they contain the hard-earned kernels of our collective future. Lest this data languish into obscurity we have replicated it here for future students to ponder. Captured here are the details of leaky spacesuits, rockets struck by lightning, spacesuit cooling systems which stop working because the spacecraft’s door got stuck closed and cameras which were disabled by dust. Then there was the hydrogen tank which failed at the last minute and was fixed by pulling its counterpart from Apollo 13, or the outrageous pinpoint landing by Pete Conrad through a pall of lunar dust, so bad he couldn’t see the surface from 40 feet up. If you want to know why that TV camera failed or just how badly decomposed the robotic Surveyor had become after three years on the moon, it’s all here. Features and Reviews Paperback: 192 pages Publisher: Collector’s Guide Publishing Inc; New Ed edition (November 1, 2004) Language: English Book Dimensions: 9.8 x 6.8 x 0.6 inches Bonus DVD Included! Regardless of whether or not you were alive to see the moon landings live on TV, you definitely can relive the excitement of that wondrous time by watching this two-sided DVD. The DVD covers all phases of the mission as well as training footage onboard the KC-135 affectionately known as the “Vomit Comet.” The DVD has many hours of footage, with sound, related to launch, lunar landing, lunar EVA, recovery, splashdown, rendezvous, onboard TV, assembled panoramas, and 16 mm camera footage. The quality of the footage is not that great, but it is a good as it was when in was first broadcast in 1969. |

Fly Me to the Moon [Anaglyph 3D] (2008) $16.95 Fly Me to the Moon [Anaglyph 3D] (2008) Fly Me to the Moon is a digital 3D presentation that wows viewers with striking 3D effects. It is the retelling of the 1969 Apollo 11 landing on the moon from the perspective of three young flies that allegedly hitched a ride on the historic flight. Nat, IQ, and Scooter live by the credo “If it’s not an adventure, it’s not worth doing,” so when the three flies get a chance to sneak aboard the space shuttle for a ride to the moon, all systems are definitely go. While Grandpa McFly and Nat’s young maggot siblings applaud the boys’ adventuresome spirits, their mothers stereotypically swoon and fret over their safety. The flies encounter several unanticipated twists including the trip’s week-long duration, a short in the ship’s circuitry, a Russian fly plot to sabotage their mission, and their mid-flight imprisonment in a test tube. Nonetheless, the flies manage to enjoy the experience of weightlessness with an in-space ballet interpretation of “Blue Danube” as well as an orange juice feeding frenzy. Fly Me to the Moon will likely spark new interest in space exploration and the United States’ walk on the moon, especially in today’s children, and the filmmakers made a concerted effort to present fairly accurate historical details consistent with NASA’s notes on the historic flight. There’s even an afterword from real astronaut Buzz Aldrin in which he stresses the impossibility of the existence of flies or other contaminants aboard the historic space shuttle. Fly Me to the Moon is fun entertainment for the whole family as well as an eye-catching display of digital 3D technology. (Ages 4 and older) –Tami Horiuchi Product Alert: This 3D disc requires red-and-blue 3D glasses and will play on non-3D enabled electronics. NOVA – MARS, DEAD OR ALIVE $19.95 The great PBS science series Nova scores another hit with Mars: Dead or Alive, capturing all the excitement surrounding the Mars rover landings of early 2004. Originally broadcast just as the first of the twin rovers (“Spirit” and “Opportunity”) was experiencing temporary communication problems with Earth-bound mission controllers, this riveting hour-long episode chronicles the risky $820 million Mars Exploration Rover (MER) project from design to touchdown, dramatically illustrating (through the use of detailed simulations and sophisticated computer animation) the considerable chances of failure–a nail-biting gamble considering that fully two-thirds of all previous Mars missions never reached their destination. Through rigorous testing and initial failure of the MER parachute system to the celebrated transmission of pristine photos from the “Spirit” landing site, we see just how intensely complex and emotionally involving the missions are, especially for Cornell University astronomer and lead MER scientist Steve Squyres and his devoted team of colleagues at Pasadena’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Careers are on the line as technical problems accumulate, and one feels the same mixture of dread, anxiety, and elation that accompanied the historic return of Apollo 13. A bonus interview with Mars-mission pioneer Donna Shirley puts everything into resonant perspective, celebrating science and the MER missions as an essential human endeavor. As with all Nova programs, the DVD includes a generous variety of study materials including an interview with Squyres, a detailed look at the anatomy of the Mars rovers, links to a companion website, and a “math activity” feature allowing viewers to understand the aerodynamic variables of parachute design. If you’re among those who feel that NASA and MER tax dollars are wasted, this DVD will probably change your opinion. –Jeff Shannon Special DVD features include: bonus video segment featuring Donna Shirley of NASA Interview with Steve Squyres Anatamony of a Rover activity Materials and activities for educators A link to the NOVA Web site Scene selections; closed captions; and described video for the visually impaired Actors: Stacy Keach, Peter Thomas, Don Wescott Format: Closed-captioned, Color, Letterboxed, NTSC Language: English Region: Region 1 (U.S. and Canada only. Life Beyond Earth $24.95 Life Beyond Earth The question of whether we are alone in the universe has intrigued humanity for centuries, and journalist Timothy Ferris presents an extensive look at the quandary in this fascinating and beautifully produced program from PBS. Ferris, as an engaging and inquisitive host, begins by discussing the development of life and the theory of evolution, as what we know about life on Earth could indicate whether it’s possible for life to have developed elsewhere. Showing how scientists would expect life to exist elsewhere, Ferris then devotes his attention in a section entitled “Is Anybody Listening” to explain how radio telescopes are being used in hopes of making contact with intelligent beings beyond our own solar system. Throughout this documentary Ferris finds creative ways to make fairly complicated material easily understandable, and his offbeat approach to serious science is always entertaining and often fascinating. Experts such as scientist and bestselling author Stephen Jay Gould appear briefly in interviews to offer their insights, but for the most part the presentation is astoundingly visual. Ferris wisely opts to show something rather than merely talk about it, and the DVD is filled with startling and beautiful special effects as well as gorgeous footage shot both on Earth and in space. This is an excellent documentary that also happens to be a pleasure to watch. –Robert J. McNamara Details: Actors: Paul Butler, France Cordova, Freeman Dyson, Gerald Edelman, Timothy Ferris Writers: Timothy Ferris, Stephen Most Producers: Brian Donegan, Elizabeth Brock, Greg Diefenbach, Jamie Stobie, Linda Feferman Format: Color, NTSC Language: English Region: Region 1 (U.S. and Canada only) Number of discs: 1 Studio: Pbs Paramount DVD Release Date: September 7, 2004 Run Time: 110 minutes |

Dyna-Soar $32.95 Dyna-Soar: Hypersonic Strategic Weapons The X-20 Dynasoar (Dynamic Soaring) was a single-pilot manned spaceplane, really the earliest American manned space project to result in fabrication of hardware. It evolved from the German Sanger-Bredt Silverbird intercontinental skip-glide rocket bomber. Dornberger, former head of Peendmuende, was at Bell Aircraft in the 1950′s and developed the Sanger-Bredt concept through various iterations (BOMI and HYFLEX). In typical Pentagon fashion the final development contract went instead to Boeing. It went through many confusing incarnations and changes in purpose (manned space bomber, reconnaisance platform, high speed test vehicle), with the launch vehicles at various times including Titan I, Titan II, Saturn I, and finally Titan IIIC. Cancellation on December 10 1963 came only eight months before drop tests from a B-52 and a first manned flight in 1964. The Dynasoar itself would have been developed into Dynasoar II, III, and Dyna-MOWS (Manned Orbital Weapons System) versions which would have run the gamut of orbital supply, rendezvous and inspection, and orbital bombing. The basic single pilot X-20A Dynasoar had a limited internal payload and volume (450 kg in a payload bay behind the cockpit, enough for another crew member or used for military/scientific payloads) Features and Reviews: ?. . . a matchless compendium . . .? ?Modelers will value the book?s extraordinary X-20 vehicle details: scale drawings, dimensions, and photographs.?? . . . does superb justice to one of aerospace history?s great ?what ifs?.? – HyperScale.com ?. . . a treasure trove of material that provides the closest thing anyone today can get to an inside view of the project.? – IEEE Spectrum ?…a great account of one of the most fascinating space projects that never flew.? – Andrew Chaikin ? author of A Man on the Moon Paperback: 448 pages Publisher: Collector’s Guide Publishing Inc; Pap/DVD edition (July 1, 2003) Language: English Book Dimensions: 10.1 x 6.9 x 1 inches |
